Physiotherapists can assess, diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions and injuries related to your musculoskeletal and neurological systems. Physiotherapists believe in movement, and that treatment is "active" - meaning the patient (yourself!) plays a key role in recovery. Physiotherapists will use any combination of hands-on manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, acupuncture, dry needling, education (so you understand your conditions and symptoms, and how to help yourself), exercise and other pain management to help you achieve your goals.
